This battery backup system comes with an integrated and pre-wired 1800W inverter-charger making it easy to set up and operate. The RSK-200 is a versatile and complete energy backup system since it can charge batteries by using the electrical grid (VAC charger), generator, or renewable energy sources. If using wind power, the minimum starting velocity needed to run the turbine is 12mph (we recommend 15mph).
With 200Ah battery capacity the following electrical devices can be powered before discharging the battery to 95%.
Device | Time |
Office with laptop, printer, modem cellphone and CFL light-bulbs | 30 hours |
18cf Refrigerator (moderate use) | 15 hours |
27″ LCD TV, Nintendo Wii and laptop | 10 hours |
Microwave | 1 hours |
Small vertical fan | 45 hours |
100W CFL lightbulb | 75 hours |
The kit includes the following components:
- 200W solar panel or 400W wind turbine
- Central Power Hub with battery enclosure
- MPPT charge controller
- PV cables
- VDC breakers
- Electrical enclosure
- PV mounting hardware (optional)
- Turbine tower kit (optional)
Add-ons for the RSK-200 include:
